These are not notes to anyone else. These are notes to myself. As such, it is not necessary that anyone else understands them. The importance of my understanding them is debatable. If there is anything from this that anyone should understand, it is perhaps something about the whole of my personality--these entries, taken singly in their solitude, are nonsense.
